Below, you’ll find information about our three housing properties, perfect for those seeking help or referring others to affordable housing options.

CPSEMO believes housing stability is the foundation for economic and neighborhood stability. Through these housing opportunities, we are planting the seeds for revitalized neighborhoods and empowered communities.

Liberty Apartments

Located in the 1100 block of Walnut Street in Cape Girardeau. This 40-unit housing complex provides modern and affordable homes for low-income individuals and families. Each apartment is 865 square feet and includes two bedrooms, a living area, dining space, kitchen, and laundry facilities.

Lindenwood Senior Apartments

Lindenwood Senior Apartments is a six-story building offering 67 newly renovated efficiency and one-bedroom units. These apartments are designed for independent senior living, featuring brand-new kitchens with stainless steel appliances, updated bathrooms with walk-in showers, new vinyl flooring, and modern HVAC systems.

SouthSide Village

SouthSide Village is an upcoming affordable housing development offering 42 units, including single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments. This property aims to provide safe and stable housing for south Cape Girardeau residents while promoting long-term community investment.

Construction began in August 2023, with an estimated completion by the end of 2024. SouthSide Village is part of CPSEMO's larger South Side Farms initiative to revitalize the area and foster economic stability.
